In collaboration with SHW Architects and O&D Construction Ltd, Pinnacle fitted out Woolmer Hill School’s library into a contemporary, practical space.
The Brief
Woolmer Hill is a successful mixed-comprehensive academy for students aged 11 to 16 years. The school provides an exceptional educational experience that equips students to become motivated, responsible, creative, and well-qualified young adults with the skills to shape the future. To support this vision, the school has revitalised its library to enhance its role in fostering creativity and learning.
What We Did
Pinnacle’s role was to supply and install furniture and features, including shelving, seating, and design features.
Key elements included:
- Bookcase System - We installed a sleek, versatile bookcase system that offered space-efficient storage and display solutions for books.
- Seating Solutions - We provided Sculpt curved seating to offer ergonomic, stylish seating for students and staff, along with armchairs, high bar stools, and a two-seater curved sofa.
- Nature-Inspired Touch - To add a touch of nature and creativity, a striking large banana tree was incorporated into the design, making the space unique.
- Unique Additions - The library features a glass frontage overlooking the school’s playing fields, creating a peaceful and inspiring environment through its connection to the outdoors.
The Result
The Woolmer Hill School library is a testament to what can be achieved through collaboration, innovative design, and high-quality materials. This project demonstrates our ability to transform educational spaces into inspiring environments tailored to the needs of students and staff. The new library has quickly become a beloved part of the school, blending functionality with a touch of creativity to create an awesome space.
