Celebrate Global Recycling Day!
18th March 2021 marks Global Recycling Day, an annual event to raise awareness of the impact of recycling and the positive impact it makes around the world.
At Pinnacle Furniture, we care very strongly about minimising the environmental impacts of refurbishment and fit-out projects. We acknowledge our responsibility to establish systems for preventing pollution, promoting recycling and minimising disruption to the local community.
One of the ways we have impacted our level of waste is to separate our waste on site to allow more of it to be recycled. In 2020, we diverted 68.8 tonnes of waste from landfill, over 96% of all our waste produced!
We are committed to the continual improvement of the Environmental Management system, following the principles and requirements of the ISO14001:2015 Standard. All employees are acting to protect the environment by preventing and eliminating environmental pollution, raising environmental awareness and reducing our carbon footprint.
